How ClipAura handles information.

Information processed

ClipAura processes sign-in details such as email address and profile name, story text, prompts, source links, selected settings, and files you choose to upload or process. Some preferences and drafts are stored in browser local storage or IndexedDB on your device.

Services involved

• Supabase provides account authentication.
• OpenAI may receive story prompts and text for story generation or editing, image prompts, audio for transcription, and source-video audio or transcripts for supported AI features.
• ElevenLabs receives text when ClipAura generates speech. Playing existing voice samples requests sample audio from that service; it does not request new speech generation.
• fal.ai receives prompts and, when provided, reference images for AI video generation if that provider is configured.
• Reddit public feeds are contacted when you request a post import. Reddit may block or rate-limit those requests.
• Background previews load video and poster assets from the ClipGOAT CDN.

ClipAura does not import or download videos from YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram. Auto-Clipping only accepts a video file selected from your device, which is uploaded to the configured worker for processing.

AI processing and provider use

When you start an AI feature, the relevant input is sent to the provider named for that feature. ClipAura does not operate a separate model-training process for your submissions. Whether a provider retains data or uses it to improve or train services depends on that provider’s current terms, account settings, and any contract in place; the ClipAura operator must verify these conditions for the production accounts before launch. Do not submit sensitive or confidential material unless you have confirmed it is appropriate to share.

Files and retention

In the current development setup, files selected for Auto-Clipping are uploaded to the configured worker for processing and the source video is deleted after successful processing; failed job files are also removed. Generated clips remain under the worker’s local jobs directory and are not durable cloud storage. Draft preferences and text remain in this browser’s local storage until cleared. Ranking video files are stored in this browser’s IndexedDB until replaced or removed and are not uploaded for ranking previews. Account information is handled by the configured Supabase project. Production hosting, provider locations, retention periods, account-deletion procedures, and backup policies have not been supplied and must be finalized before launch.

Cookies and browser storage

The current source contains no analytics or advertising integration and no payment-provider script. The app uses browser storage for authentication state, preferences, drafts, and selected ranking videos. Browser storage is not the same as an analytics cookie, but its use and any essential authentication storage must be reviewed against the production configuration. If non-essential analytics, advertising, or payment technologies are added, they must not be enabled before the required consent has been obtained.

Hosting and international transfers

The production hosting provider, server region, provider processing locations, and applicable transfer safeguards have not been provided. Because external AI and media services can process submitted data, the operator must document the actual locations, contracts, and safeguards before offering the service to users in the EEA.

Your choices

Do not submit information you are not authorized to share. To request access, correction, or deletion of account information, contact the operator using the privacy contact that must be added to the legal notice before public launch.

Changes and review

This policy must be updated if the hosting provider, data flows, AI services, payment processor, or retention practices change. Have the final version reviewed for the jurisdictions where ClipAura is offered.
