What uses external services?
ClipAura does not currently sell credits or track a per-user credit balance.
Provider-dependent tools
- OpenAI: AI story writing, image generation, transcription, and Auto-Clipping analysis.
- ElevenLabs: voice listing and speech generation. Existing voice samples are fetched for playback; generating new speech may incur provider usage.
- fal.ai: AI video generation when the operator has configured this provider for the deployment.
- ClipAura worker: Auto-Clipping, chat-story, Reddit Story, and Video Ranking rendering require the worker and its media-processing dependencies.
Current limitations
- Reddit imports use public feeds and can be temporarily rate-limited by Reddit.
- Reddit Stories and Video Ranking can export finished MP4 videos. Worker-generated files are stored in the worker's local jobs directory, not durable cloud storage, and may not be available indefinitely.
Check Pricing for payment status. Do not treat a provider limit or cost as a ClipAura credit balance.
